RESOLUTION NO. 2015 -23
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING AN
AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KENAI MUNICIPAL CEMETERY SIDEWALK
AND COLUMBARIUM FOUNDATION 2015.
WHEREAS, the following bids were received on April 7, 2015;

WHEREAS, Endries Company is the lowest responsive bid; and,
WHEREAS, award to this bidder would be in the best interest of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the recommendation from City Administration is to award the agreement to
Endries Company for the base bid for the total approximate cost of $42,095; and,
WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that the agreement for the project entitled " KENAI MUNICIPAL CEMETERY
SIDEWALK AND COLUMBARIUM FOUNDATION 2015" be awarded to Endries Company
for the total approximate cost of $42,095.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 6th day of MAY, 2015.

Award of an agreement for the construction of Kenai Municipal
Cemetery Sidewalk and Columbarium Foundation 2015
This memo is in support of a resolution awarding an agreement for the construction of
the Cemetery Sidewalk and Columbarium Foundation. The following bids were opened
on April 7, 2015.

This project will construct approximately 100' of sidewalk and a 24' x 33' concrete base
for a future columbarium.
The additive alternate is to construct an additional 42' of sidewalk. I do not recommend
awarding the additive alternate because the additional cost is not reasonable, and
project funding is not currently available to award both the base bid and additive
alternate.
