CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL Chair Morin called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll was confirmed as follows: Commissioners present: Commissioners Absent: Staff /Council Liaison present: A quorum was present. 2. AGENDA APPROVAL MOTION: Chair P. Morin, T. Thompson B. Peters, W. Nelson, V. Askin, G. Greenberg, J. Glendening Public Works Director S. Wedemeyer, Council Liaison Vice Mayor Gabriel Commissioner Askin MOVED to approve the agenda; Commissioner Nelson SECONDED the motion. There were no objections; SO ORDERED. 4. APPROVAL OF MEETING SUMMARY — January 12, 2015 MOTION: Commissioner Nelson MOVED to approve the meeting summary of January 12, 2015 and Commissioner Askin SECONDED the motion. There were no objections; SO ORDERED, 4. PERSONS NOT SCHEDULED TO BE HEARD — None. 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS a. South Beach Road Public Works Director Wedemeyer reported that the design for the South Beach Road is 95% complete and that the City is waiting on a US Army Corps of Engineers permit. a. Alaska Wildlife Trooper Tickets Commissioner Morin reported that he sent an email to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game requesting a summary of the tickets that they issued during dipnet season and had not yet received a response. 6. NEW BUSINESS — None. REPORTS a. Public Works Director — Wedemeyer reported on the following: • Design aspects of the South Beach Road. • Large signs and beacons will be installed on the shore this year as opposed to floating docks and that there will be a string of buoys in the river demarcating the no wake zone. • Budgets. b. Commission Chair — Commission Chair Morin noted he would be requesting a work session after the administration provides information on the duties and responsibilities of the Harbor Commission. C. City Council Liaison — Vice Mayor Gabriel reported on the past two City Council meetings. 8. NEXT MEETING ATTENDANCE NOTIFICATION — March 9. 2015 Commissioner Morin advised he would not be in attendance. 9. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS /QUESTIONS — None. 10. PERSONS NOT SCHEDULED TO BE HEARD — None. 11. INFORMATION — None. 12. ADJOURNMENT MOTION: Commissioner Peters MOVED to adjourn and Commissioner Askin SECONDED the motion. There were no objections; SO ORDERED.
