RESOLUTION NO. 2015 -40
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A BAR AND LOUNGE CONCESSION
AGREEMENT FOR THE KENAI MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, on May 27, 2015 the City of Kenai advertised for bids for a Bar and
Lounge Concession in the Airport Terminal for a period of five (5) years; and,
WHEREAS, one responsive bid was received on June 9, 2015 for the contract year
July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2020; and,
WHEREAS, the bid amount received was as follows:

Upper Deck, LLC minimum annual guarantee $ 16,000
plus a monthly percentage rate of gross sales 2%
WHEREAS, the City Administration has determined that this bid meets all the
requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that the City Manager is authorized to enter into a Bar and Lounge
Concession Agreement with the Upper Deck, LLC, for the period July 1, 2015 through
June 30, 2020.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this third day of June
17, 2015.

Subject: Resolution 2015 — 40 to Award Airport Bar /Lounge Concession
The Airport started advertising for the bar /lounge concession on May 27, 2015.
Two (2) bid packets were picked up and one (1) bid was received by 2:00pm on
Tuesday, June 9, 2015.
The bid was as follows:
Upper Deck, LLC $16,000 minimum annual guarantee for 5 years plus
monthly percentage rate of 2.0% of gross sales
All bid documents were complete with the security deposit. The bid is determined to be
responsive.
It is my recommendation the City Manager enter into the Bar /Lounge Concession with
Upper Deck, LLC.
