On November 14a' and November 30' a City street light was knocked down as a result of a motor vehicle accident. The City has submitted claims against each driver's insurance totaling $13,376.60 for the repair of the damaged poles. The Street Lighting Department's budget is not sufficient and I am recommending appropriation of the anticipated insurance proceeds to provide sufficient funds for the repairs. Your support is appreciated.
