KENALALA SKA
4 Rick Koch, City Manager
FROM: Sean Wedemeyer, Public Works Director $/K It%
DATE: March 8, 2015
SUBJECT: Resolution transferring funds within buildings budget
This memo is in support of a resolution transferring funds within the buildings budget.
Larry Floyd retired from the Building Official position in August. A recruitment was
initiated in July, extended in August due to insufficient qualified applicants, and closed
without filling the position in October for the same reason. A successful recruitment was
initiated in November, closed in February, and a new Building Official will start in April.
This transfer will utilize unexpended funds from the wage categories to pay for
professional building inspection and plans examiner services until the position is filled.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
