Koch - City Manager From: Mary Bondurant — Airport Man r Date: September 13, 2016 Subject: Ordinance 2924 -2016 During the 2016 Small Taxiway & Aircraft Tie down Project, flood lights were disconnected and removed to establish a temporary taxiway. During this process it was discovered that all the underground electrical was out of compliance with National Electric Standards so the flood lights cannot be reconnected to the existing wire. The six flood lights can only be reconnected with new wiring and new junction boxes that meet the NEC and IBC standards of installation. These lights are very important to the safety of aircraft operating on these taxiways. The request for proposal is reasonable and I recommend approval of this change order Please contact me if you have any questions.
