ORDINANCE N0. 1821-99
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA INCREASING
ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY X242,000 FOR SITEWORK TO
FACILITATE THE CONSTRUCTION OF AMULTI-PURPOSE FACILITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Kenai desires to construct aMulti-Purpose Facility; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 1807-98 appropriated X60,000 for design services; and
WHEREAS, the project is ready for sitework to commence; and
WHEREAS, funding for the project will come from the General Fund fund balance; and
WHEREAS, the sale of 5 Irons Heights Subdivision is expected to bring X675,000 to
the General Land Trust Fund; and
WHEREAS, General Fund revenues will increase as a result of this sale through
property taxes and increased interest from the General Land Trust Fund.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that estimated revenues and appropriations be increased as follows:
