ORDINANCE N0. 1822-99
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA
INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY X344,970
FOR THE PURCHASE OF A MULTIPURPOSE AIRPORT BROOM.
WHEREAS, the Kenai Municipal Airport is in need of a Multipurpose Broom for
runway maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the FAA has awarded a grant in the amount of X267,816 for this
equipment; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska is expected to participate with a grant of X8,927;
and
WHEREAS, the remaining X68,227 is available in the Airport Land System
Special Revenue Fund fund balance; and
WHEREAS, a new capital project fund titled Airport Multipurpose Broom will be
created to account for this purchase; and
WHEREAS, award of this project is contingent upon State and FAA approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that estimated revenues and appropriations be increased as
follows:
