w 4 Suggested by: Parks & Recreation Director city of Kenai ORDI~171NC8 N0. 3634-94 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $4,OOfl IN THE GENERAL FUND FROM THE RESERVE FOR ATHLETIC EXPENDITURES. WHEREAS, in 1980; the City Council adopted Resolution No. 80-178 that accepted land from Harold A. and Rita Daubenspeck; and WHEREAS, that resolution provided that revenues derived from the oil, gas, and mineral rights of the land "be dedicated to athletic programs sponsored by the City of Kenai", at the discretion of the City Council; and WHEREAS, at June 30, 1994, the balance in the reserve for athletic expenditures was $57,415; and WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Director has requested that Council appropriate athletic reserve money fox equipment and games for the Teen Center, and WHEREAS, the Council has determined that such expenditures meet the intent of Resolution No. 80-178.
