AN ORDINANCE OF 'THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
INCREASING ESTIMATED R~E;VENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $4,133 IN THE
COUNCIL ON AGING BOROUGH FUND.
WHEREAS, the Kenai Peninsula Borough received a legislative grant
from the State of Alaska for distribution to the Kenai Feninsula
Senior Citizen Programs to be spent over a five

WHEREAS, the City of Kenai has $18,537 which is unappropriated at
this time; and,
WHEREAS, the Senior Center Program Director has asked that $4,133
be appropriated for the purchase of a lawn tractor for the Senior
Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that estimated revenues and appropriations be
increased as follows:

Sandy, I would like you to appropriate ~4,t32.90 from the Borough
"Five Year" funds into account number 025-7~-8064. This request is
needed to purchase a lawn tractor for the senior center.
I have discussed this transfer with Mr. Brighton, he is agreeable
to completion of this request at the June 19th council meeting.

and pursuant to the rovfsions of 18.35.
Ordinances of the City of Kenai, the followinf ree laotdioof
hereby promulgated governing overnight camping ingCft ns are
y parks.
1.05.020 Forest Par c,~y~gh~b (a) Forest Park is hereby .~,~
designated available for overnight camping between May 1 and
October 15, subject to the limitations set forth below.
(b) Overnight camping in Forest Park shall be limited to three
(3) consecutive twenty-four hour periods in any ten (10j day
period.
(c) Camping is limited to tent camping only. Recreational
vehicles as defined in KMC 14.20.329(13] are not allowed to
remain overnight in Forest Park.
(d) Penalties for violations of the regulations in this chapter
shall be as set forth in KMC 18.35.030 and 13.05.010.
ADOPTED by the City Manager on July 9, 1991, to become effective
immediately.
