AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL, OF .THE CITY OF liCgNrA= ~ ALJ~,g~, AMENDING
THE OFFICIAL CITY OF KENAI ZONING MAP FOR LOTS FOUR hA1D ~'IVg
BLOCK TWO VALIi~ALLA HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION SY PRELIMINARY PLAT AND
ALSO KNOWN AS R--1fi34.
WHEREAS, RMC 14.20.270 establishes a procedure to amend the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Kenai, and
WHEREAS, the Official City of Kenai Zoning Map depicts lands
described as Lots Four and Five Slock Two Valhalla Heights
Subdivision according to preliminary plat and also known as 8-
1634 as Residential tR) and
WHEREAS, the City of Renal desires to render the entire area one
zone which would allow the existing Structure and include the
proposed addition to the existing atxucture, and
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning designat~.on is General Commercial
tCG) and,
WHEREAS, the Kenai Planning & Zoning Commission held a public
hearing on June 27, 1990 and as a result of that public hearing
recommend approval of the proposed amendment to the General
Commercial tt'G) zoning designation.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THS CITY OF
RENAI, ALASKA, as follows:

Notice is hereby given that a petition to rezone by amending the
Official City of Renai Zoning Map and Land Use Plan has been
submitted by Tim Wisniewski. The land is described as Lots Four
and Five, Block Two Valhahalla Heights Subdivision, Part Two Filed
Under Plat R-1634, Kenai Recording District.
The property is currently zoned Residential tR~, a rezoning
amendment to General Commercial tCGf is requested.

A Public Hearing on this petition to rezone/amend the Official City
of Renai Zoning Map and Land Use Plan will be held b~ =the Renai
Planning & Zoning Commission on Wednesday, June 27, 1990 commencing
at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, Renai Alaska.
Anyone wishing to present testimony concerning this matter should
do so at this hearing or submit written comments to the City of
Renal, Planning Commission, 210 Fidalgo, Renal, Alaska 99611 prior
to June 27, 1990.
