AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA INCREA3ING~
ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $33,100 IN THE GENERAL.FUNU
FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY AT THE KENAI SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER;
WHEREAS, in 1989, the City of Kenai constructed a parking lot at the
Senior Citizens Center, which crossed a lot line of Lot 2, Spur.
Subdivision No. 3, and
WHEREAS, in 1990, the City expanded the dining area of the Senior
Citizens Center, which also crossed a lot line of Lot 2, and
WHEREAS, the City has obtained an appraisal of these additional land
areas, which total 16,553 square feet, and
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has concurred with the
appraised value of $33,100, and
WHEREAS, the General Fund should purchase this property from the
Airport.
NOVA, THEREFORE, BE IT 'ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENAL,.
ALASKA that estimated revenues and appropriations be increased as
follows:

Dear Mr. Pattison:
The enclosed appraisal report is submitted for your agency~s
review and approval. The City has xead.the appraisal report and.
agrees with the dust compensation estab~,ished.
The City of Kenai, purchased Lot 2, Spur Subdivision ~`3 for the
location of the Kenai Senior Citizens. Canter. The sale took
place in August, 3,982 and the General Fund paid the Airport Land
System S36,ooo for the property. Tn the summer of 1989, the City
constructed a parking lot which crossed. over the lot line to the
north. This summer, the City began an addition to the dining-
room which has crossed over the lot line to the west. The lot is
being replatted; the new lot will be called Lot 2A, Spur
subdivision No. 9. The City General Fund intends to purchase the
assembled property from the Airport Land system.
Please advise me in writing if this appraisal meets with your
approval. Thank you for your att®ntion in this matter.
