TITLE 4 OF THE KENAI MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED, "UNXFORM.:.. BUILDING CODE" TO ADOPT AND INCORPORATE BY REFERENCE THE 1988'.A;ND 1990 EDITIONS OF CERTAIN CODES. WHEREAS, the International Conference of Building Officials and. the National Fire Protection Association have updated the codes promulgated by them. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, that the 1988 Editions of the Uniform Building Code; the Uniform Building Security Code; the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings; the Uniform Sign Code; the Uniform Mechanical Code and the 1990 Edition of the National Electrical Code as amended by the City of Kenai and the State of. Alaska, are adopted by reference and incorporated in the Kenai Municipal Code, Title 4, as stated in Attachment "A."
