Thereforep the City - W would lose FY84.AIP' funds. The "back-up" preapplication was - 's submitted to the FAA on January 300.1986 for simultaneous processing along with the'flost plans facility project. The FAA has indicated that tentative approval for the "back-up" could come ae early se.,six weeks from now and that it would be =-- appropriate for the City to get the engineering done for the project now. Once the engineering is completed and the FAA gives it's approval, the-projapt will go to grant. The grant should be issued sometime in mid -July. A new time table for the -float plane -facility project will be submitted to Council on or before Its next meeting. . ,:.. Jo 5• \
