HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 1163-19869 Suggested by: Council CITY OF KENAI ORDINANCE NO. 1163-06 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE 1986-07 GENERAL FUND BUDGET BY $909000 FOR INSTALLATION OF NEW STREET LIGHTS. WHEREAS, at the City Council's request, the Public Works Department has completed a survey of street light locations, and has identified a need for approximately SO new lights, and WHEREAS, Homer Electric Association has estimated that installation will cost $909000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, that the following increases in estimated revenues and appropriations be made: General Fund Increase Estimated Revenues: Appropriation of Fund Balance 9 .000 Increase Appropriations: Street Lights - Improvements Other then Buildings I 90.000 PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 3rd day of September, 1986. HEA will bill the City on an existing yard light rate. The City will also have to pay for installing each new light unless the light Is installed on an existing pole that has secondary power.- _ 4.
