CITY OF KENAI
ORDINANCE NO. 1097-85
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $2,500 IN THE
CAPITAL PROJECT FUND ENTITLED "MARATHON ROAD RELOCATION."
WHEREAS, the Marathon Road Relocation Project is experiencing
significant cost overruns that are estimated to increase the main
construction cost by over 100%; and
WHEREAS, monies are available from other accounts within the
project and from the Airport Land System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that the following increases in estimated revenues
and appropriations be made:
Airport Land System

Increase Appropriations:

SUBJECT: Ordinance #1097-85
Ordinance #1097-85 was introduced on November G, 1985 with an
additional appropriation to Marathon Rd. of $2,000. We now
have the final pay estimate (see informational item), and the
costs are even higher than expected two weeks ago.
Please amend ordinance #1097-85 to change all places that the
$2,000 appears to $2,500.
