CITY OF KENAI
ORDINANCE. NO. 904-63
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
ESTABLISHING TENANCY REQUIREMENTSr IN THE KENAI MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
TERMINAL AS FOUND IN THE KENAI MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS, in an effort to provide functional efficiency and public
safety and convenience, the City desires to adopt rules
regulating tenancy in the Kenai Mun.;cipal Airport Terminal, and
WHEREAS, the present Airport kegulations do not address tenancy
requirement in the Kenai Municipal Airport Terminal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TnL. ZITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that the Airport Regulations be amt--if- adding
a new section as follows:
14.00O Tenancy Requirements in Airport Term
14.010. All tenants must occupy such areas as designated
for their specific type operation.
14.020. Each tenant airline must occupy an area of not
less than 150 aquas feel ticket counter space and 300 square
feet of office space and have direct accecn to the existing
baggage build-up area. Airlines may shares existing facilities
under an approved lease -sublease agreeme►4t.
14.030. Car rental agencies must occupy -n area of not
less than 100 square feet and in an area as designated for that
purpose.
14.040. All other concessions/tenants shall operate in
existing designated facilities rioiless specific alterations are
approved by City Council.
14.050. No temporary, nonprofit, or public service
activity shall be operated in excess of 30 days without approval
of Council.

14.060. Vending machiiian, newspapers and other
publications shall be placed in accordance with Aicport Manager
