ORDINANCE NO. 942-84
AN OfsDINANCE OF THE. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE 1984-85
JAIL BUDGET BY $88,020 FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 1984 THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 1984.
WHEREAS, the City had expected that this State of Alaska would
assume jail responsibilities from the City by July 1, 1984, but
it is now apparent that this will not occur on schedule, and may
not take place until September 30, 1984, and
WHEREAS, the City Administration and the State of Alaska have
agreed that reasonable payment by the State to the City shall be
s17,340 for July, and $29,340 each for the months of August and
September.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, THAT ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS BE
INCREASED AS FOLLOW5s
