CITY OF KENAI
ORDINANCE NO. 974-84
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE 1984-85
GENERAL FUND BUDGET BY $14,400 AS A RESULT OF TWO GRANTS FROM THE
STATE OF ALASKA FOR LIBRARY SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has awarded the City a grant in the
r.mount of $4,000 for ;nstitutional services, and
W!4EREAS, the State of Alaska has awarded the City a grant in the
amount of $10,400 for interlibrary cooperation, and
WHEREAS, both grants are for personnel and benefits.
NOW$ THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that the following increases in estimated revenues
and appropriations be made:
General Fund

Library Grants $14,400
Increase Appropriations:
Library - Salaries $11,255
- Workers' Comp. Insurance 130
" - Health Insurance 840
- PERS 1,150
" - Annual Leave 850
" - Supplemental Retirement 60
" - Unemployment 115

of September, 1984.
