CITY OF KENAI
ORDINANCE NO. 981-84
AN ORDINANCE Or THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL KENAI ZONING MAP BY REZONING LOTS 4 AND 5,
BLOCK 14, AHLSTROM SUBDIVISION TO GENFRAL COMMERCIAL (CG)
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, KMC 14.20.280 establishes a procedure to an;end the
Official Zoninq Map of the City of Kenai, and
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Julius Weurth to
rezone Lots 4 and 5, Block 14, Ahlstrom Subdivision from Suburban
Residential (RS) District to General Commercial (CG) District,
and
WHEREAS, the Kenai Advisory Planning and Zoning Commission teas
conducted the required public hearing on September 12, 1984, and
WHEREAS, the Commission recommended approval of the rezoning
petition in accordance with Resolution No. PZ84-81, and
WHEREAS, the Commission also recommended an amendment to the
Kenai Comprehensive Land Use Plan to General Commercial.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that the Official Zoning Map of the City of Kenai
shalt be amended as follows:
Section 1: Subject property consisting of Lots 4 and 5.
Block 14. Ahlstrom Subdivision is hereby rezoned to General
Commercial (CG) District.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 3rd day
of October, 1984.
