CITY OF KENAI
ORDINANCE NO. 985-84
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
AMENDI14G THE OFFICIAL KENAI ZONING MAP BY REZONING LOTS 1--9,
BLOCK 1; LOTS 1-4, BLOCK 2, AND LOTS 1-8, BLOCK 3, COOK INLET
INDUSTRIAL AIR PARK SUBDIVISION TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG)
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, KMC 14.20.270 establishes a procedure to amend the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Kenai, and
WHEREAS, the Kenai Advisory Planning and Zoning Commission has
undertaken a study of the Cook Inlet Industrial Air Park
Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the Col„a+ission has identified certain properties that
conform to the General Commercial zoning district guidelines
based upon existing or potential use, and
WHEREAS, the Commission has conducted the required public hearing
on September 12 and 26, 1984, and
WHEREAS, the Commission recommended approval of the rezoning
petition in accordance with Resolution No. P784-79, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that the Official Zoning Map of the City of Kenai
shall be amended as follows:
Section 1: Subject property consisting of Lots 1-9, Block
1; Lot 2; 2; and Lots 1-8, Block 3, Cook Inlet
Industrial Air Park Subdivision are hereby rezoned to General
Commercial (CG) District.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 17th day
of October, 1984.
