CITY OF KENAI
ORDINANCE NO. 986-84
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL KENAI ZONING MAP BY REZONING TRACT F-1,
SPRUCEWOOD GLEN SUBDIVISION NO. 2 TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG)
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, KMC 14.20.270 establishes a procedure to amend the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Kenai, and
WHEREAS, the rezoning petition has been submitted in order to
accommodate a commercial development encompassing the subject and
adjacent properties, and
WHEREAS, the Kenai Advisory Planning and Zoning Commission, has
conducted the required public hearing on September 12 and 26,
1984, and
WHEREAS, the Commission recommended approval of the rezoning
petition in accordance with Resolution No. PZ84-80, and
WHEREAS, the Commission also recommended an amendment to the
Kenai Com;.trehensive Land Use Plan to Geoteral Commercial.
` f NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that the Official Zoning Map of the City of Kenai

shall be amended as follows:
` Section 1: Subject property consisting of Tract F-1,
Sprucew000d Glen Subdivision No. 2 is hereby rezoned to General

Commercial (CG) District.

of October, 1984.
