CITY OF KENAI
ORDINANCE NO. 859-83
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
REPLACING THE TABLES REFERRED TO IN THE PERSONNEL REGULATIONS
(TITLE 23) TO ESTABLISH A NEW SALARY STRUCTURE BY GRADE AND NEW
HOURLY RATES FOR PART-TIME EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, the Personnel Ordinance, KMC 23.55.020(a) and
23.55.050, specifies that the tables establishing salary
structure by grade and hourly rates for part-time employees may
be replaced by ordinance, and
WHEREAS, due to inflation occurring over the last year, it
appears equitable that the salary structure by Grade for 1983-84
should be increased by 70, and that the hourly rates for part-
time employees for 1983-84 should be increased by 70.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA as followus
[� Section 1s That the attached tables identified as "Fiscal
Year ` '19'83-843alary Structure by Grade" and "Fiscal Year 1983-84
Part -Time Salary Table" replace those corresponding tables that
presently appear in the Personnel Ordinance which establish
-� salary structure by grade and hourly rates for part-time
employees.
Section 2s That this ordinance and the tables attached
hereto eFeZi-Fie effective July 1, 1983.
