ORDINANCE NO. 643-81
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THREE NEW
CAPITAL PROJECT FUNDS ENTTTL8Ds "CANDLELIGHT, LINWOOD, N.
DOGWOOD, N. LUPINE, AND PHILLIPS"f "SPRUCE, BIRCH, FOURTH, FIRST,
SECOND, AND THIRD"f AND "FOREST DR. EXTENDED AND GILL" IN THE
AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF $156,500.
WHEREAS, the City wishes to begin engineering work on certain
road capital improvement projects for which construction monies !'
are being requested from the State of Alaska, and &43
WHEREAS, the City of Kenai received Grant #8-055 from the State
of Alaska in the amount of $2,100,000 for road improvements, of
which $1,783,600 has been appropriated, leaving an available
balance of $316,400, and
WHEREAS, under the terms of Grant #8-055, the use of those monies
toward administration and engineering of these road projects is
permissable, and
WHEREAS, proper accounting practices require that all
appropriations of City monies be made by ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that estimated revenues and appropriations in the
following Capital Project Funds be increased as followss
Streets Candlelight. Linwood, N. Dogwoods N. Lupine"
