HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 0701-1981CITY OF KENAI ORDINANCE NO. 701-81 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE CITY ADHINISTRATION BUILDING CAPITAL PROJECT FUND BY 08,450 AS A RESULT OF APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY ENERGY GRANTS FROM THE FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS. WHEREAS, in September, 1980, the City receive© Appropriate Technology Energy Grants of $4,225 each from the State of Alaska and the Federal Governments for a heat-oxchanger for the City Administration Building, and WHEREAS, these grants have net boon appropriated becauoo the heat -exchanger wan incorporated into the original budget and financed by City monies, and WHEREAS, it is now desirable to appropriate those grants in order to release City monies for change -orders and other costa -� associated with the City Administration Building. WHEREAS, proper accounting practices requiro that all appropriations of City monies be made by ordinance. NOW, THEREPORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, that the following increases in Estimated Revenues and Appropriation in the City Administration Building Capital Project Fund be made: Increase Estimated Rovonuess Federal Grant $4,225 State Grant 64,228 88,45O increase Appropriations: Construction a-M PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI ALASKA, this 19th day of August, 1981.
