HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 0617-1980/ P4 CITY OF KENAI ORDINANCE NO. 617-80 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP KENAI, ALASKA, INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE 1980-81 AIRPORT LAND SYSTEM FUND BUDGET BY $3,850 TO RETURN A PORTION OF TIE -DOWN PEES WITHHELD PROM MCNAMARA AND ASSOCIATES, INC. WHEREAS, in fiscal year 1979-80, the City of Kenai withheld from a cash bond placed by McNamara and Associates, Inc. for removal of an aircraft, $7,050 in tie -down fees, and WHEREAS, the City Council has decided to reduce the amount of tie -down fees to $3,200, which results in a return to McNamara and Associates, Inc. of $3,850, and WHEREAS, due to the ending of the City's fiscal year at June 30, 1980, the monies have been included in Fund Balanace at July 1, 1980 , and WHEREAS, proper accounting practices require that all appropriations of City monies be made by ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, that the following increases in estimated revenues and appropriations in the 1980-81 Airport Land System Fund Budget be made: Increase Estimated Revenues: Appropriation from Fund Balance $3,850 Increase Appropriations: Airport Maintenance and Operation - Miscellaneous $3,850 PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI ASKA, this 1st day of October, 1980.
