WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai has reviewed in a special Council meeting
requests from City Department Heads for appropriations of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds, ', J J .,
and
WHEREA#3 = determination has been made concerning the desirability of and thn need for
the prirehase of certain assets for the City , and
WHEF:EAS, based upon information from the U. S. Dec~artment of Treasury, adequate funds
will be available in the form of Federal Revenue Rharing for these improvements, and
WHEREAS, proper accounting practices require that all appropriations of City monies be
made by ordinance .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA
~ that:
Section 1: The 1979-80 Annual and Capital Projects budgets of the City of Kenai
be amended to include the items in categories as listed on Exhibit A, which is attached
and made a part of this ordinance.
~. Section 2. Estimated revenues and appropriations be increased as follows:
