WHEREAS, there sue Federal R~venue Rhartng funds available whieh have been dedtcat~,~
to the purchase of replacement capital operating equipment, and
WHEREA~, the eateKory of Streets and Public Safety are approved elnssifleattons for
expenditures from Federal Revenue flhnrinlr funds, and
WHEREAS, priority fro' these items has been established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KE~AI, ALASKA
as follows:
8action 1: The Council hereby authorizes the purchase of the following:
One used 1969 Kenworth, V12 Tanker, eomvlete with $,200 gallon
aluminum tank end traile~ with 6,$00 gallon capacity fo~ {35,000.
8ueh purchase is made undoi' the provisions of Section 7-37(2)
which excepts equipment which can be furnished by only a stabile
dealer from the requirements of eomoetittve bidding.
8eotion 2: The Council hereby authorizes the purchase of the following:
One used 1972 baakhoe with diesel engine and with less than
2,000 hou.,'s for a priee of $47,500. each purchase is mede undem.
