AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF KENA! ESTABLISHINt~ A CAPITAl,
PROJECT FUND ENTITLED "SEWER TREATMENT PLANT MOD!FICATIOI~S" BY INCREA~JING
ESTIMATED R~ENUE6 ~ APP~PRIATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $63,500
WHEREAS, the U. 8. Envt_~onmental Protection Agency has directed the City of Kmmi
to take stops toward improving its Waste Water Treatment Facility, and
WIIEREAS, the State of Alaska, Department of Environmental Conservation has tendered
a grant in the amount of $30,125 for partial funding, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kenai*s portion of $33,375 is to be funded by the Reserve for
Future Plmlt Expansion in the Water & 8ewer 8peot~l Revenue Fund, and
WHEREAS, proper aO~O'dtlti~g pr~,tioos require that all appropriations of City monies
be made by ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Couneil of the City o~* Kenai, Alaska
as follows_.*
8eotton 1: Ordinaneos No. 378-77, 381-77, and 402-78 appropriating $15,000
for engineering from the Rosorvo for Capital Improvements are hereby repealed,
Seotton 2: The 1977-79 Water & Sewer Special Revenue Fund be amended
to reflect the following tnerea~es in estimated revenues and appropriations:
