ORDINANCE NO. 417- 78
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI ESTABLISHING A
SPECIAL REVENUE FUND ENTITLED "KENAI SENIOR CITIZENS PROJECT FY 1975~79''
BY INCREASING ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN TH~ AMOUNT OF
$38,556.
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska has offered the City of Kenai a s, rant award of
$28,000 under Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1965, and
WHEREAS, the City must match the ~rant with $10,556 of in-kind services, and
WHEREAS, the continuation of the Senior Citizen Program is deemed desirable,
and
WHEREAS, proper accounting practices require that all appropriations of City
monies be made bv ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI
that the following increases in estimated revenues and appropriations ere hereby
made fox. FY 1978-79:
