AN ORDINANCF, OF THF` COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALAggA,
ESTABLISHING A CAPITAL PROJECT FUND ENTITLED "FIRF, RF`gERVOIR**
AND INCREASING E~TIMATED REVENUE9 AND APPROPRIATIOn9 IN TIIE
AMOUNT OF
WHEREAS, the City of Kenai is desirous of constructing a 3.0 million gallon
wat~' reservoir, and
WHEREA9, the F~olmmie Developmont Administration has offered s gr~nt in the
~mount of ~1,250,000 to fund the major portion of this project, and
WHEREAS, the State of Alazka*s Department of Environmental Conservation has
also obligate, $94,895, and
WHI~REAS, the City of genai'8 matching share for these grants ts $94,895
flnanoed by a portion of the fund balance from the 1974 Refunded Bond Issue,

WltERI~AS, prop~ ~,aounting praetioes require that all approp~attons of City
monies be made by ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIFF. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI
that the following ingresses in estimated revenues and appropriations are
