To conform as closely as possible to the actual practice. Under Kenai Code, Soction 1-h tho meet~n~~ have not for a long period of time been held in the "Administration i;uilding" but in fact have been held in the library. Could he argued that at one time the library aras part of the "Administration I;uildinf;" but that rea]Iy is not accurate anymore. 2. The proposed rewrite wnulcl permit a change of the meeting _ place each time of a regular or sreical meeting. In prac:i:i¢e this will not happen. • 3. The proposed revision which is attached hereto has incorporated the idea of the announcement of the meeting place on the ag~;r-aa. That announcement would then make the legal meeting place. The proposal p~~sently pending, before the Council would not be accurate because special meetings are sometimes held at the Administration Office and it could be argued that such changes unless provision, is made for it could be confusing enough to invalidate an action that might be taken at a special meeting, for example authorization of a bond sale. ' 4. I have suggested ?s a method of procedure that the date of I! posting on the hulletirt Hoard at the Administration O€fice he Dnt"r..:• ==`t ~~~+~..;~.1 t~ t~_r1E+Y' 1Yhen this is done the 'j fil3ngof the official anenda would then be evidence that all ' of the legal steps hdd been taken for the particular meeting, -, ' ~, in question. i ~- ll a -lf ' J ES E.
