ON PI~MISES OF ANY SCIIOOL LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY.

WHEREAS, co~plaints have been received regarding the possession
,nd consumption of alcoholic beverages on the premises of school
schools within the l~m£ts of the City of Zenai,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KE~AI, AI~3RA:
Section 1. It is hereby found and declared that restrictions
~ those specified in State s~atutes are required [or the
orderly administration of the sale and regulation of alcoholic
beverages within the City of Kenai, and therefore, a prohibition
on the consu/=~tion or possession of alcoholic beverages on the
prmises of any school or schools within the city lignite is
in the public interest and welfare.
Section 2.: That the C~de of the City of Kenai, 1963, as amended
ke hereby further amended to add to Chapter 13 the following
provisions:
Possession of alcoholic beverage~ prohibited
on school ~roundso
Section 13-33. No persoa shall carry
or have Ln possession, or under ~aid person's
control, or accessible to said person alcoholic
liquor or alcoholic beverages on the premises
of any school located within the city 1/mits.
Consum~tion of alcohol prohibited, on school
Section 13-34. No person shall consume,
drink, or othem~ise ingest any alcoholic
beverage or alcoholic liquors~hile in, upon,
or passing through any school premises located
within the city limits.
