That Ordinance Ho. 15, Section 18 shall be amended to read as £ollowa: "Section 18. Any dog so impounded shall be kept continuously confined for a perto~ o£ 14 days from the day thc doi bit the human being, and the o~ner, ~ossessor~ or person harboring the said dog shall be responsible for such charges as may be required for pounding, including but not limited to a fee £or isolation of the said dog, food £or the dog and special charges required £or rabies prevention. (b) Upon learning that a dog has bitten a human being, the police shall immediately noti£y the Department o£ Health ar~t ~elfare and ir~o~m the said State ~ency o£ the place ~here the said do6 ia impounded. Section 4. Section No. 7, Ordinance No. 15 of Kenai, Alaska is hereby amended to read as ~GIlOWa: Section 7. Section ~, Section 11 of Ordinance lto. 15 is hereby amended to read as[ollows~ Section Il. Disposition of Unclaimed Dogs. Any dogs not claimed aG ~rov~ded in Sectban 8~ within ~ days ~fter impounding ahalJ, be sold [or not less than the amount provided in Section 8 to anyone desiring to purchase the dog.
