RESOLUTION NO. 99-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA
AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR HEALTH AND LIFE INSURANCE BROKERAGE
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City requested proposals from all local insurance brokers; and
WHEREAS, four brokers received the request for proposal; and
WHEREAS, proposals were received from two brokers'

WHEREAS, the contract award is for a one-year contract beginning July 1,
1999 with options to renew for two additional years; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Kenai to award the contract to
Brown Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that a one-year contract for health and life insurance
brokerage services with options to renew for two additional years be awarded to
Brown Agency. The effective date of the contract is July 1, 1999.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 5th day of
May, 1999.
