CITY OF KENAI
RESOLUTION NO. 98-71
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ACCEPTING THE PRESERVATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF KENAI.
ALASKA
WHEREAS, KMC 14.20.105(c)(9) requires that the Historic District Board
develop a local historical preservation plan that is compatible with the 'Alaska
State Historic Preservation Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Historic District Board held work sessions and used meeting
time during the past three years drafting a preservation plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing on June
24, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommend that the Historical
Preservation Plan be accepted.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Kenai, Alaska that
the City of Kenai's Historical Preservation Plan is accepted.
PASSED by the Council of the City of Kenai, Alaska, the 7th day of October
1998.
