TRANSFERRING $3,000 IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR LEGISLATIViE
WHERe, the Kenai ~ty Council contracted with IC SCott & Associates to prepare..' a.i-.:.
feasibility study to be submitted to the C~lallenger ~enter for Space Science Education i~'
pursuit of the placement of a C~aallenger Learning ~enter in Kenai; and, ":. -'..
WHE~, the Olallenger Steering Comm__jttee, along with IC Scott & AssoCiate~' haVe
submitted their feasibility study to the Kenai Gouncil for review and in their finding it
acceptable, the Gouncil requested additional copies of the study be printed for
distribution to various learning institutions, legislators, local C~lambers of Commerce,
etc.; and,
WHEREAS, the cost for printing of the study was not included in the FY95/96
Legislative Printing & Binding budget and additional funds in that budget are needed to
pFint the study; and,
WttE~, funds are available for transfer from the Legislative Professional S e~ces
budget. '. . ..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT ~ COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY O!~
KENAI, ALAS~ that the following budget transfer be made:
