A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITy OF KENAI~ ...AL.A,~
DECLARING THE FOLLOWING AMBULANCE SURPLUS'.~ ~NATING'IT .
WHEREAS, the 1984 Chevrolet 10,500 OVW Type I, Class IFlOOr plaa'A
Coach Ambulance was purchased in 1984 throush state capital 8rant fiJnds forHM' S
this community; and, "
WHEREAS, the City ofKenai's F~o Department has replaced R~o.8 this past
~md the City of Kemd no lons~' 1~ a n~d for th~ 1984 Ambulance; alld;: ' '
WHEREAS, the Community of Ninilchik has no funding or resources to 0ur~hase an
ambulance, and is in need of a repla~ment ambulance to cover th6ir area of service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that the 1984 Chevrolet 10,500 GVW Type I, Class I Floor Plan'A
Wheeled Coach Ambulanc~ be donated to the Community ofNinilchik. '

Du;ing 1996 ~e've had 63 ambulance runs ~ith 97 patients. The Ntnilchik
Community Ambulanoe Associa~ion has applied £0~ e replacement ambulance
to ~he state th=ough the Capital Equipment Pcocess £o= t~o consecutive
yeats to no avail. ! don'~ see any change £n tesu~s ~th future apPZica-
tions.~o~ us.
