WHEREAS, the recommendation from the Parks & Recreation Department''
and the Public Works Department is to award the contract to Craig
Taylor Equipment in the amount of $18,729.27, and
WHEREAS, the equipment offered by the low bidder does not meet.the
specifications and the required tax compliance certificate was'not
completed properly, and
WHEREAS, the Council of'the City of Kenai has detez, mined~at craig,,
Taylor Equipment,s bid is the lowest responsible bid". and award.(t~
this bidder would b~. in the best interest of the.CitY, and
WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated.
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF
ALASKA, that the contract for the Utility Tractor be awarded'
Craig Taylor Equipment for the total amount of $18,729.27.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA this 3rd day of
November, 1993.
