WHBREAS, the following bids were received on June 10, 1992 for the above mentioned PrOJect,

D & L Construction
Foster Construction
Quality Asphalt

the City of Kenai has formed a LID to help fund this project, and
WHEREAS, the recommendation from William J. Nelson and Associates the project design
consultant, and the Public Works Delmrlment is to award the contract to Alaska Roadbuilders
for the basic bid of'$173,017.00, and
WHEREAS, the. Council of the City of Kenai has determined that Alaska Roadbuilder's bid for
the'baSic bid is the lowest responsible bid and award to this bidder would be in the best interest
of the City, and
WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated.
NOW, THEREFORB, BE IT RH.qOLVBD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that the contract for the construction of the Set Net Driw and Set Net C4mtt
lmpmvemmts be awarded to Alaska Rondbuilders in the amount of $173,017.00 which includes
the basic bid.
