I have discussed the continuation of the contract with the Finance Director and we both feel it would be the best interest of.the City to extend the existing security contract. Security for the airport terminal during those times when nobody is in the building should be considered a necessity in protecting the City's investment against random vandalism or theft. A resolution to transfer $9,324.00 from the Airport Terminal Contingency Fund to Airport Teminal Professional Services will be needed to fund the additional security for the remainder of the fiscal year. Security will be added as a line item in next year's budget.
