A RESOLUTION OF THE C0UNCZL OFT HE CITY OF ~ENAZ,
CONGI~LTUL~TZNGTHE KENAZ CENTRA~HZGH SCHOOL GIRLS V~RSIT¥
BASKETB~TF~J~.
~HERF~S, the ICenai Central High School varsity Girls
Basketball Teas worked extremely hard during the years to. work
toward a comon goal; and,
~HERE~S, all the me~bers of the Xenai Central High School
Varsity Girls Basketball Teas endeavored to work toward this goal
in a team effort during the 1991 basketball s~ason; and,
~HERF~$, on February 2, 1991, the basketball team achieved
their goal by defeating the Palmer Girls Basketball Team in the
final game of the State Tournament with a score of 58-53 and by
winning the 4A~'A~ GZR/~BJIS~/~ILGTOU/~IB~2~.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, AL~SIC~, that we are extremely proud of the Kenai Central
High School Girls Varsity Basketball Teamts efforts, camaraderie,
sportsmanship, and team-work.
BE ZT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we are extremely pleased and
excited for their success in attaining their goal to be the4A
STAT~GIRT, S BASICBT~aIZ, CILBI~IOI$ and do hereb~ con~atulate for
their victories:
