A I~SOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF T~ECITYOFKENAI,'ALASK~TgANSFE~RING
$4,000 IN TH~ GENERAL FUND FOR COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT OVERTIME.
WHE~AS, because of vacancies and training, eXPenditures for
Communications Department overtime has exceeded proJections~ and
WHERF~S, the same vacancies have created a surplus in the salary
account, which may be transferred to overtime.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF KENAI,
ALAS~, that the following budget transfers be made:

SUBJBCT: Communications Department overtime

Request $4000 be transferred from Communications Salaries to
Communt cat i OhS Overt/me.
Communications overtime has been used to cover vacancies and
training of the ne~ personnel to fill those vacancies. This was
not a projected use of overtime for budget preparation purposes.
There will be su££ie/ent funds in the salar~ account to facili-
tate this transfer due to the savings created by the vacancies
and salar~ differentials of the departing and new employees.
