BRIGHTON, CITY MANAGER, AND KORNELIS, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, FOR ANY DAMAGES IN DENIS DOUGLAS v. CITY OF KENAI, WILLIAM J. BRIGHTON KORNELIS, SUPERIOR COURT CASE NO. 3AN-91-1413 CI. ALASKA, KEITH THE CASE OF and KEITH WHEREAS, William J. Brighton and Keith Kornelis have been named individually as defendants in litigation known as Denis Douglas v. City of Kenai, William J. Brighton and Keith Kornelis, Case No. 3AN-91-1413 CI.; and WHEREAS, The Kenai City Council has been informed of the ba. ckground, nature and circu~stances of the litigation; and WHEREAS, the City of Kenai, has determined it is in the best interest of the City to agree to indemnify and hold harmless William J. Brighton and Keith Kornelis for any damages which may be awarded in the litigation; BE IT RESOLVED that the Kenai City Council hereby agrees to fully indemnify William J. Brighton and Keith Kornelis for any and all damages, compensatory or punitive, which may be awarded against them in the litigation known as Denis Douglas v. City of Kenai, William J.
