A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OFT HE CITY OFKENAI, ALASKA TRANSFERRING
$3,500 IN THE GENERALFUND FOR POLICEOPERATING SUPPLIES.
WHEREAS, as a result of increased fuel'costs and costs for emergency
traffic flares, the Police operating supply account in nearly
depleted, and
WHE~S, funds are available for transfer from other accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF K~NAI,
ALASKA, that the following budget transfers be made:
General Fund
From: Police - Professional Services
Police - transpo~tation
$1,500

To: Police - Operating Supplies
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 17th day of

Police Pro£essional Services has a surplus because of !ab costs
being less than budgeted.
Police Transportation has a surplus because attendance at two
major schools/seminars had to be cancelled.
