WHEREAS, this resolution and award of the project
upon Council approval, and
is contingent
WHEREAS, the recommendation from the Recreation Director, and the:-
Public Works Department is to award the contract to Peninsula
Flooring for the basic bid and alternate numbers ! and 3 for the
total cost of $10,001.00, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai has determined that
Peninsula Flooringts bid for the basic bid and the desired
alternate is the lowest responsible bid and award to this b~dder
would be in the best interest of the City, and
WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE 'CITY OF KENAI,.-
ALAS~, that the contract for carpet and the installation 'of. the
carpet at the Recreation Center be awarded to 'Peninsula 'Flooring..
for the' total, amount of $10,001:00 which includes the basic bid 'and
additive alternate numbers ~1 and.3. ' ' ' ·
