RKqOLUTION NO. 91-51
A RK~OL~ON OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING
A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF KENAI CONOREOATB HOUSING TO
GASTON & A~OCIATKq FOR THE TOTAL CONSTRUCTION AMOUNT. OF
$3,806,513.00 WHICH INCLUDES THE 40 UNIT CONGREGATE HOUSING, SITE WORK,
AND FAA ROAD IMPROVEIvIENTS.
WHEREAS, the following bids were received on August 6, 19~1 for the above referenced
project, and

WHEREAS, the City of Kenai has received three (3) grants to fund this project, and ..
WHERBAS, the recommendation n~m Livingston/Slone, the project design consultant, and the
Public Works Department is to award the contract to Gaston and 'Associates for the 40 unit
Congregate Housing (Basic Bid), site work (Schedule A), and FAA Road improvements
(Schedule B), for the total construction cost of $3,806,513.00, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai has determined that Oaston and Associate's bid is
the lowest responsible bid and award to this bidder would be in the best interest of the City,' and
WHEREAS, sufficient monies are appropriated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RHSOLVED BY ~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that the contract for the.COnstruction of the KenaiCongregate Housing be awarded
to Gaston and Associates for the totalconStmction amount of $3,806,513.00 which includes the
40 unit Congregate Housing, (Basic Bid)" site work (schedule A), and FAA Road improvements
(Schedule B),
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA this 12th of August, 1991.
