Jack,
As requested, we offer this proposal for
with respect to the subject project.
engineering
services
As we understand it, the City of Kenai wishes to determine the
causes of the pavement failure on Taxiway A3 and come up with
alternatives to correcting the problem.
We would propose to drill 10 - 12 test holes along the approxi-
mately 1500 foot long taxiwa¥. These test holes would be drilled
to a depth of approximately 5 feet with split spoon samples thken
in each hole. Gradations and moisture contents would be run on
selected samples. A report would then be prepared describing the
soils encountered, possible causes for the pavement failure and
alternatives for correcting the problem.
We would propose to complete the above described work, i~cluding
providing an asphalt cold patch for the auger holes, for a
not-to-exceed figure of $5200.00. ....
We look forward to working with you on this project. If you have
any questions concerning this proposal, please do not hesitate to
contact this office.
Sincerely,
Wince-Corthe11-Bryson
