I~SO~.UTION NO. 91-71
A R~SOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING THE
BID FOR ONE TA-1500 AIRCRAFT RESCUE FIRE FIGHTING VEHiCLE TO OSHKOSH
TRUCK CORPORATION FOR A LUMP SUM AMOUNT OF $288,887.00.
WHEREAS, the City of Kenai received bids for the above mentioned
vehicle from the following firms:
Oshkosh Truck Corporation
$288,887.00
Emergency One, Inc.
$324,289.00
WHEREAS, the City of Kenai Fire Department recommends awarding the bid
to Oshkosh Truck Corporation for the total bid amount of $288,887.00.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai feels that it is in the best
interest of the City of Kenai to award this bid to Oshkosh Truck
Corporation; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFK~NAI,
ALASKA, that the bid for one TA-1500 Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting
Vehicle be awarded to Oshkosh Truck Corporation for a lump sum amount
of $288,887.00. ·
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 6th day of
November, 1991.
