Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTION 1990-38Suggested by: Public Works ~ZTY OF ~IZtZ REBOLUTZON ~0. g0-38 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OFT HE CITY OF KENAI, ~Sl~, AWARDING CONTRACT FORA RCHITECT/ENGINEERING DESIGNANDPROJECT INSPECTION FOR~E PRO~ECT ~TXT~ED~X BX~~~VX~X~O~B ~ C~~ 0~~ FOR THE TOT~ ~O~T OF $144,775. ~~S, proposals ~ere received on ~une 13, 1990 for the above referenced pro, eot, and ~~S, ~is resolution and avard of the contract is contingent upon Economic Development Ad~inistration (SDA) approval, and ~ER~S, the City of Kenai has received a grant to help fund this project, and ~HSRF~$, the recon~endation from the Advisory Co~mittee for the Kenai Bicentennial Visitors and Cultural Center and the Public Works Department is to avard the contract to Kluge and Associates, and ~HSRF~S, the Council of the City of Kenai has determined that award to this firmwould be in the best interest of the City, and WHERF~S, the fDA has been requested to approve a line-item budget transfer, and this award is contingent upon receipt of that approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OFT HE CITY OF KENAI, ~S~, that subject to the above-mentioned approvals, the contract for the~rchitect/Engineering Design and Project Inspection of the project entitled Kenai Bicentennial Visitors and Cultural Center be a~arded to Kluge & Associates inthe a~ount.of $100,697 for design and $44,078 for inspection, for a total not-to-exceed contract of COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, $144,775.
